A wizard of the White Council, Allan Montgomery is pledged to protect the people from supernatural threats. He has taken over the role of Warden of Cleveland after the fall of his mentor(a)Bill Donovan.

After an ill fated battle with a Denarian, Allan's soul was disconnected from his body and then sealed within a necklace so as to save him. While Allan's body wears the necklace he still has all the normal abilities of a living person.

Differences from previous version

Allan was implicated in the crimes of (a)Bill Donovan and being ordered to protect Cleveland is his punishment.

Strangers

Allan was using his soul pendant to control a tank golem during the initial fight against the black court vampire. After his golem was destroyed during the fight, his necklace was returned to his inert body which returned it to life. When Allan was reactivated he was called to report to his new superior, (a)Jacob Sanderson who is replacing (a)Valerie Morgan Stewart. During the debriefing Allan was told that a powerful artifact that Donarians would be interested in has gone missing from the white council vault under the salt mine. Jacob told Allan that he has been inducted into Venatori to participate in the investigation. Allan was put in charge of making sure (a)Roberto Martinez honours the temporary truce.

Allan and Reppa Pierce traveled into the Nevernever which was being corrupted by a magical cancer created by Bill Donovan. Bill's wife had died from cancer and it drove destroyed him mentally. Allan used one of his golem bodies while inside the Nevernever which was tainted by the corruption.

After the finale of the story, the Prime version of Allan and the Alpha version of Allan merged together. The Vespa that Allan kept around as a backup vehicle became a deep candy red as parts of the darker version of Allan blended with the Prime universe version.

Denarians

Allan wasn't able to immediately respond to Roberto's call to arms due to being questioned by the White Council with regards to the exact way in which (a)Maxwell Edison died. He was also busy working secretly with his new Venatori society to deal with the items hidden under Lake Erie.

After the group returned to Ethan Sharp's dimensional domain following the mansion heist the group found Allan in spectral form. He explained that he is no longer a warden and has lost ownership over his official chapter house, Donovan's former house.

Allan, Ethan, Reppa and Roberto went to Donovan's house to retrieve materials from the basement before the house was taken over by his former school rival Calvin Gardener. When Calvin arrived at the Donovan house he was stopped by (a)Roberto Martinez who was posing as a grounds keeper. Roberto was able to stall Calvin long enough for Allan and Ethan Sharp to gather as many of the books as they deemed useful, place Allan back in his golem body and let loose a torrent of chaotic ghosts to wreck the basement before Allan and Ethan escaped to Ethan's dimensional hideaway. Allan's golem body still had the magical cancer taint from when it went into Donovan's corrupted area of the Never Never but through regular treatments from Reppa it was at least kept from spreading. Allan and Ethan were able to move Allan's golem body to be stored in Ethan's domain Grand Haven.

During the final battle Allan used magic to kill one of the soldiers attacking Grand Haven, immediately causing a schism between himself and Ethan, who made it clear Allan was no longer welcome there.

Allan's spirit was withdrawn to his body which was being held in the White Council base and was being examined. While it was being looked at closely he used his water magic to solidify the water in his blood instantly, forming spikes that impaled the examiner and destroying his body once and for all.

Eschaton

After being given the opportunity to prepare via the rewound time Allan went to work trying to destroy traces of his past mortal life. He entrusted his soul gem to Bill Donovan which allows him to travel to the Never Never at any time but also ties him to that plane so if he is damaged he may be forced across to the Never Never immediately. He also took his time to learn how to incorporate a ghostly soulfire blade, in the memory of his warden sword. He aimed to retrieve the last vestiges of his life currently in Grand Haven.

Allan came to visit Grand Haven and, while attempting to build bridges, volunteered some of his power to the ward as payment to enter.
